Jai and I first connected online during the pandemic, a time when the world felt very isolated. Living in Sydney, I was feeling uninspired, so I searched for inspiration beyond my immediate surroundings, utilizing the internet. Although I don't recall the exact details of how Jai and I first came into contact, I do remember that it was through our shared love of art.
I was captivated by Jai's use of black imagery, immediately drawn to his work. His bold use of vibrant colours, wrapped faces, and child-like experimental approach resonated deeply with me.

After reaching out to him, we began communicating online, eventually progressing to phone calls where we shared our ideas and creative visions. I love Jai's mind and the way he thinks. Inspired by our connection and mutual admiration, we decided to collaborate on an art piece, send it back and fourth, and see where that took us.
This was the result.
