Depth in

Discarded Tech

I revisited the thrill of using this disregarded relic to capture depth with infrared sensors, a realization that once felt groundbreaking. What I adore about the Kinect is its raw, open framework and digital low fidelity—a perfect blend of creative freedom and nostalgic tech. Through styling, movement, and a collaborative approach, we crafted something unique that reminds me of a lesson I value deeply: embrace limitations and let go of perfectionism.

Styling and movement direction by Matthew Gode, with hair by Rory Rice and makeup by Sean Brady. Fashion and location provided by Qurated, with set design and production by Jordan Gogos.
